Kagaja Mukha: Craft document of Paper Masks

This document explores the relationship of a family of craftmen from the Raghurajpur Village of Odisha, with the process of building and deriving meaning from their practicing craft 'Kagaja Mukha'.

Practicing craft at the age of mass production has to do a lot with the pride of the people in practicing a skillful act. The social fulfilment of the act itself is immense.

From sourcing colors from rocks and flowers, using cow dung as base to buying colors and crafting clay, the craftmen continuously adapt to the ecosystem.
